Brown visited the University of Georgia last weekend for his official visit at the North Texas game and liked what he saw: “The weather wasn’t great but it is always good to go up to the University of Georgia, I had a lot of fun”, said Brown.
Brown had originally planned to announce his college decision on September 28th (his birthday) but decided to move it up to today to get it over with because he has a big football game tomorrow night and wants 100% attention on that.
Brown chose the out of state Georgia Bulldogs over two in-state teams, and he talked a little about why he made that decision: ”The coaches are great men, the environment is great and I feel very comfortable there and it reminds me of home“ Brown said.
Brown is a player that can play all 4 linebacker positions if needed. He is a very good edge rusher and has drawn comparisons to Georgia Bulldog All-American Jarvis Jones. He is explosive on the snap and he has the ability to beat you on the edge, while also having the strength to bull-rush if needed. He gets sideline to sideline very quickly and is a very sure tackler in the open field. He would be a big pickup for the Dawgs!!!
The only true weakness I see in his game is the lack of experience standing up in the 3-4 defense, but that will be a quick adjustment. He is a “stronger” Jarvis Jones type player and I believe the Bulldog Nation is going to be very excited with the addition of Brown.

I guess I can see the tweener concern, but to me this is the perfect pass rusher OLB size for our defense. He has exceptional speed and quickness and should have the strength necessary to play well against the run. Jarvis was too small, but made up for that with heart, quickness, and hustle. KB has the physical tools already, imo. Hopefully his work ethic and motor are exceptional as well. To me 6'4" is ok but more than that and the outside rush guys lose too much leverage.
so is he going to end up outgrowing the LB position and get moved down to DE or do you guys see him as and LB in Granthem's system?
@willypmd I don't think he has the frame to play DE in a 3-4. I think if he puts on a good amount of weight, he would be an OLB and occasionally move to DE in passing situations, much like Cornelius Washington
So what is harder to find, a fast athletic guy or a big strong guy? Because depending on the answer we might be better off keeping this guy at around 240 and line up at OLB.
