My issue with the number of returning starters is that at numerous times during the season different players were starters. For example, Murray was a starter, but so was mason. Mitchell was a starter but went down so Scott-wesley was a starter who went down as well, which gave was to towns and rump. Here's the way I see it:
Rb- Gurley, Marshall, green, Douglas
fb- hicks, hall
wr- Bennett, scott-wesley, rumph,
wr- conley, mitchell
That's 18 guys offense that have started multiple games last season.
N- Mayes, Thornton
De-bailey, Dawson, Johnson
De- drew, Taylor, Atkins
olb- Floyd, Deloach
Cb- dawson, Langley
Cb- swann, Wiggins
fs- Matthews, mauger
Ss- jhc, moore
so that is 21 on defense with very significant playing time and starts...
