Just reading through the 2015 RB recruiting posts below....UGA isn't going to get Taj Griffin (and he is no true RB anyhow). And UGA is likely not going to get Eric Swinney as he has already said the depth chart will be an issue. I don't know much about the Williams kid. But, nobody is mentioning Kawon Bryant from nearby North Oconee. A 5'9" 205 pound beast that rushed for over 2500 yards and 41TDs last season. He was also the MVP of the junior all star game that also featured Taj Griffin. UGA may not be on the kid, but many other schools are. Be kinda sad to see him have big days in Sanford Stadium over the next many years but wearing colors other than red and black. We are very deep it seems at the position. But it's a position that can get thin in a hurry.
“The allegation involves Mike Ekeler wearing a tattoo to entice Will Compton to come to Nebraska,” Osborne said, “and, unfortunately, because of that tattoo on his arm, it looks like we will have NCAA sanctions against us when the investigation is complete. The way I understand it, it looks like Mike will be off the road for a year recruiting, and it looks like Will is going to be ineligible to play this year.”
Has our WR recruiting changed? It seems we are taking smaller, speedier guys. Reggie Davis (6'0 160), Rico Johnson (5'10-6'0 170), Terry Godwin (6'0 165). JSW (5'11 210), Tramel Terry (5'10 200) (safety now), Dominick Sanders (5'11 190) (corner or FS most likely). Two slot receivers in J.J. Green (5'8 175) and Isaiah Mckenzie (5'8 175).
2 things I noticed on BAW's twitter. 1--Dawg fans have class. There are many kind messages wishing him the best. 2--BAW has responded to and thanked every Dawg fan who wished him well. What a great kid.
@South FL Dawg@Bulldawg Bob2 No. Not at all. That is why I am saying. If you were a coach, how could you turn down two talented RBs in the 2015 class of that caliber? I would take 2 if not all 3 of them if we can. I may not have worded that question well up above lol.
