The University of Georgia announced in an email this afternoon that OLB Paris Bostick will be transferring, according to head coach Mark Richt.
“After discussing the situation with Paris, we mutually agreed this is a good decision,” said Richt. “He has a positive future in football and we wish him all the best in attaining his goals in football and in education.”
Bostick, a 6-1, 217-pound native of Tampa, Fla, played at Plant High School, the same place former Bulldogs Aaron Murray and Orson Charles got their start.
Bostick took a redshirt year in 2013 after preseason toe-surgery, and was expected to get a look at OLB this season in new defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt’s defense.
As of now, we have no further information regarding the transfer, but will certainly try and dig into the matter while at spring practice the next few days, so stay tuned to Bulldawg Illustrated.
