[break] Seniors Charles Grethen, Brandon Lord and Carly Hamilton will return to the road this weekend for the Camel City Elite meet in Winston-Salem, N.C., as they take the track on Saturday afternoon.

[break] [break] The Camel City Elite is a part of the Hilton Garden “Innvitational” that will bring a host of professional athletes to compete against the collegiate talent.
[break] [break] Both the Georgia men and women earned their top regular season U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) rankings in history this week.  The Lady Bulldogs are situated second in the national poll behind Florida while the Georgia men are sixth and are one of five teams from the Southeastern Conference in the top 10.
[break] [break] Following a personal-best time at the McCravy Memorial, Grethen opens the action for the Bulldogs at this meet in the men’s 800-meter run at 2:30 p.m.  Lord is scheduled to compete in the 3000 at 3:10 p.m. for the first time since setting a school record in the event last weekend.  Hamilton is slated to run in the Mellow Mile at 3:45 p.m., which is a distance she owns a school record in already.
[break] [break] Grethen, a native of Tuntange, Luxembourg, clocked a 1:48.96 to finish fourth at last weekend’s McCravy meet and to better his No. 5 spot in the school record books.  He currently stands 10th on the national performance list and is working to advance to his second NCAA Championships (first indoors) in the 800.
[break] [break] Lord, a native of Chattanooga, Tenn., was also fourth in his event in Lexington, Ky., after completing his laps in 7:56.50, which is also fourth on the national performance list.  This time was two and a half seconds faster than Ian Burrell’s school record mark of 7:59.04 set at the 2007 Tyson Invitational.  Lord advanced to the 2014 NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 10,000 after winning last year’s SEC title in the event and is in search for his first indoor Nationals invitation
[break] [break] Hamilton, a native of Springboro, Ohio, is making her season debut in the mile.  Hamilton has earned two straight First Team All-America certificates in the event at the last two NCAA Indoor Championships.  She set the school record in the mile at last season’s SEC Championships thanks to a time of 4:35.79.
[break] [break] The rest of the team will return to action at the Doc Hale VT Elite Meet in Blacksburg, Va., on February 6-7.
