[break] The Georgia Bulldogs had a host of visitors at their recent Junior day, including 2017 ILB Brian Strozier, Jr.
[break] [break] Strozier is a 6 foot 1, 230 pound prospect out of Tucker, GA who has seen his stock sky rocket recently. I caught up with Strozier to get the scoop on his recent visit to Athens and the latest on his recruitment.

Me: How was your recent visit to UGA? What was your favorite part?

Brian Strozier Jr: My visit was great! I really liked the coaches and the players. They are really focused on family and keeping talent in the state of Georgia. They really stressed education and being a better man before being an athlete. My favorite part was probably talking to the coaches and touring the school. I stayed the weekend and got to hang out with some players. They really treated me like I was family and showed me a great time.

Me: Which UGA players did you spend the most time with?

Brian Strozier Jr: I spent a lot of time with Jon Ledbetter, Natrez Patrick, Dominick Sanders and Isaiah McKenzie.

Me: Which schools are recruiting you the hardest to this point, and do you have a top group yet?

Brian Strozier Jr: Louisville, Georgia, Alabama, Georgia Tech and Clemson. Colorado State offered yesterday as well. I’m really happy with those schools right now. There are some schools I could add, but wouldn’t like more.

Me: Which UGA coach are you the closest with?

Brian Strozier Jr: Definitely closest to Coach Rocker. I keep in touch with him the most.

Me: What are the most important factors in your decision?

Brian Strozier Jr: Great coaching staff, great fan base, great education, and great facilities are all important. I really just want to feel at home though.
