Five dual meets and three invitationals at Gabrielsen Natatorium highlight the 2015-16 Georgia swimming & diving schedule released Wednesday by Coach Jack Bauerle.

Georgia will open the season Oct. 10 in Athens against North Carolina. Georgia also will entertain Georgia Tech on Nov. 4, Emory on Nov. 13, Tennessee on Jan. 23 and Wisconsin on Jan. 30. The Lady Bulldogs have won 94 straight meets at home, a streak that began Nov. 8, 1995.

Gabrielsen Natatorium also will be the site of the Georgia Fall Invitational Dec. 4-6, the Georgia Diving Invitational Jan. 3-5 and the Bulldog Last Chance Feb. 27-28.

Georgia will make visits to Florida on Oct. 30 (the day before the football game in Jacksonville), Texas A&M on Jan. 8 and Texas on Jan. 9 for dual meets.

The SEC Championships will be held Feb. 16-20 at Missouri. The Lady Bulldogs have won a school-record six consecutive conference titles.

The Zone B Diving Championships (March 7-9), the NCAA Women’s Championships (March 17-19) and the NCAA Men’s Championships (March 24-26) all will take place at Georgia Tech.

“We have put together a regular-season schedule that will get us ready for the postseason,” said Bauerle, who is entering his 37th year with the women and his 33rd with the men. “Facing quality opponents at home and on the road will toughen us up. If we respond the right way, we should be in the hunt again at the SEC and NCAA meets.”
