KIRBY SMART (HC) – As Kirby Smart enters his 11th season as the head coach of Georgia football, he will lead the No. 3 ranked Dawgs through a home schedule featuring new opponents and forgotten rivals. Smart has proved he is a force to be reckoned with in the SEC for over a decade, so the Bulldog Nation shouldn’t expect this year to be any different.

‌GUNNER STOCKTON (QB #14) – After a year under his belt as the leader of Georgia’s offense, Gunner Stockton captured the hearts of all UGA fans. Following clear development in speed, leadership and overall IQ from his 2024 season, Stockton proved himself game after game last year. Stockton exhibited his dual abilities compiling 2,894 passing yards for 24 touchdowns, and 462 rushing yards for 10 scores last season. Stockton led the Bulldogs to the CFB Quarter-Finals last season and is expected to carry them further this season.

‌NATE FRAZIER (RB #3) – Nate Frazier enters this season coming off of an ankle injury he suffered in Georgia’s loss against Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl, which was later aggravated in the opening play at G-Day in April. Frazier has healed and been active since fall camp began. After a promising freshman year, Frazier led the team in rushing yards (947) his sophomore season, where he cemented himself as the backbone of Georgia’s running game. Alongside returning running back Chauncey Bowens and a dual threat quarterback in Stockton, Georgia will continue to have success on the ground.

‌DREW BOBO (OL #74) – Although starting center Drew Bobo’s health has been up in the air since the beginning of fall camp, Coach Smart expressed zero concern about his availability starting this season. Bobo was held out in Georgia’s first scrimmage, but in following practices Bobo played every snap and is doing great, Smart said. Bobo was voted a preseason First Team All-American following a year where he established himself as an incredible leader, play caller and protector.

‌ELLIS ROBINSON IV (CB #1) – Ellis Robinson IV came out of his first season in 2024 appearing in only four games. A year later he solidified himself as a standout player for Georgia’s stout defense, earning many accolades. Leading the Dawgs and SEC with four interceptions last season, Robinson got his footing against collegiate down-field offenses. Coach Smart continues to praise Robinson for his fierce competitiveness and distaste for errors.

‌CHRIS COLE (LB #9) – Star linebacker, Chris Cole, is entering his junior year at Georgia and is expected to break out as a pass rusher. After losing CJ Allen, the Dawgs need someone ready to fill those shoes. Up for the task is Cole with 35 total tackles and 4.5 sacks, and returner Justin Williams with 36 total tackles. Coach Smart believes Cole embodies the toughness of Georgia football, and could bring back their physical and elite defense.

ELIJAH GRIFFIN (DL #90)- Elijah Griffin is entering his sophomore season coming off of an excellent freshman campaign on Georgia’s defensive line. With 22 total tackles, one sack and a forced fumble, Griffin exuded extreme promise to fill the lack of pressure that was evident in the 2025 defensive line. With his size, at 6-foot-4 and 310-pound, Griffin is expected to be key in bringing back the best defense in the nation.
