Bulldawgs make 5-star prospect’s list of top schools.
Class of 2021 wide receiver Agiye Hall dropped his top-12 schools over the weekend on his Twitter account, and UGA was among the schools to make the cut.
Hall is considered a top-50 prospect nationally and a top-10 player at the WR position for the class of 2021. 247sports currently has Hall projected as a 5-star prospect and one of the top-2 receivers while Rivals has him rated as a 4-star prospect and the No. 6 receiver among high school rising juniors. At the Opening Regionals back in February, Hall was timed at 4.50 in the forty and 4.29 in the shuttle with over a 3 feet vertical. His 6 foot 2.5, and 182 lbs frame to go along with his gifted athleticism as well as what he has done on the gridiron so far is what makes Hall so highly coveted as a receiver.
The talented Armwood High School athlete out of Plant City, Florida has over 41 scholarship offers so far. In addition to the Bulldawgs, a number of top programs have offered Hall including Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, and Ohio State as well as SEC East rivals South Carolina and Tennessee to name a few. Currently, FSU was considered the front runner in Hall’s recruiting after he took a couple of unofficial visits to Tallahassee during the month of June. However, FSU nor Florida or Miami made his top-12, but it is still early in the 2021 recruiting cycle.
Including Agiye Hall, Georgia currently has offered 20 wide receivers for the 2021 class. Two of those, Chris Hilton and Trevonte Rucker, are also considered 5-stars, but Hall is the highest rated receiver offered by the Bulldawgs so far for 2021.
