Profession: I’m an artist painting vivid, modern, geometric color studies out of my home studio in Atlanta, Georgia.  I work with several galleries across the South and you can also find me working with interior designers on commissions or painting large scale pieces for hospitality projects!

My work has been in “Happy to be Home with Gray Benko” and seen in The Glam Pad and The English Room.

Book: Nobody Will Tell You This But Me by Bess Kalb.  I was so so so close to my late grandmother and this book had me equal parts laughing and sobbing, but in the best way. I’m currently reading Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid and I cannot put it down!

Magazine:  In Kind; it is such a beautiful page turner and it feels like you’re reading something written by a dear friend. And I love our family subscription to National Geographic, it’s so much fun to flip through with my son.

Podcast: The Daily, Second Life, The Creative Process

Blog: I steer more to short form substacks these days and I’m enjoying Ina Garten’s as well as Culture Study by Anne Helen Petersen and The Creative Act by Rick Rubin.

Chef: Ina Garten’s cookbooks are the ones I go back to time after time. (4)

Historical figure:  Betty White; a trailblazer with impeccable comedic timing and an animal welfare advocate all well before her time.

Memory while in school: Sharing a townhouse on Milledge with my sister and our dog and taking road trips to away games with friends.

Professor/class: The many public speaking and speech writing classes that pulled a small town girl out of her shell and helped me grow in confidence.

Gameday ritual/plan:  Watching now with young kids running around in their red and black, the game on inside and outside and people coming and going and catching up and it’s just so much fun in a different way than we ever knew it would be when we were in school!
