One of Georgia’s most loyal supporters, lifelong Bulldog fan John Parker, is one of the University’s most distinguished alumni. A graduate of Georgia, Parker coached high school football and basketball and taught. He then made a dramatic career change and went to law school at the age of 32.
Parker rose through the ranks at Coca-Cola, and in 2008 was named General Counsel and Senior Vice President. He had previously served as General Counsel to Coca-Cola Enterprises and CC’s European Group.
His father Reid Parker was a Professor of Forestry at Georgia, the faculty representative for the Athletic Association and the Director of Athletics.
John and his wife Kay are involved in numerous philanthropic efforts, including the Kirby Smart Family Foundation. They are the proud parents of four children: Laura, Reid, Davis and Lucas.
