What life lessons did you learn while at UGA? 
 
Don’t let the classroom interfere with your education.
 
 
What professor did you most admire (and why)?
 
Vince Dooley – Professor of the Gridiron. Honorable Mention: Law School Professor, Paul Kurtz.
 
 
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
 
I killed three turkeys with one shot (2014). I won a Blue ribbon for growing roses at the Thomasville Rose Show (2016). Living with one boot in Soperton and one tasseled loafer in Atlanta.
 
 
Which historical figure do you most identify with?
 
Judge Henry X Harper. Miracle on 34th Street (1947).
 
 
Who are your heroes in real life?
 
Georgia Court of Appeals Judges. Charlie Mikell (Scholarship). Marion Pope (Humanity). Herb Phipps (Courage). Jack Ruffin (Laughter). Brian Rickman (Common Sense).
 
 
Quote to live by:
 
“In law and in life, it’s the people you meet and the friends you make that make the difference.”
 
 
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
 
Turkey hunting with Sandra Kate. Georgia Bulldogs beating Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia Tech in the same year.
 
 
What is your most marked characteristic?
 
Balancing being very social and very discrete at the same time.
 
 
What do you most value in your friends?
 
Loyalty and laughter.
 
 
If you could improve one thing about yourself, what would it be?
 
Read more. Improve aim while hammering.
 
 
Who are your favorite writers (and why)?
 
The philosopher, Thomas Carlyle. Carlyle wrote a number of masterpieces, including The French Revolution, and Of Heroes and Hero Worship. His greatest work was Sartor Resartus, the Tailor-Retailored. His philosophy was centered around the Latin phrase, Sic Vos Non Vobis, “Not for ourselves, but for others,” the same motto as the colony of Georgia
 
 
Fave social media and who to follow (and why)?
 
I don’t do social media. I still hand write letters with real postage stamps and talk to people face to face
