What is Share the Magic Foundation?

“Share the Magic Foundation has received more than 350 requests to visit schools, libraries and youth organizations across the country. Your support enables Share the Magic Foundation to introduce book ownership in households where reading is not a priority and improve literacy among below-grade level readers in underserved schools and communities through these programs:”

Books for First-Grade Students

“By providing copies of “The Magician’s Hat” to first-grade students, Read with Malcolm enables young readers to own an age-appropriate book that they can read at home and use to develop reading skills critical for future success.”

School Visit

“Educators are continuously seeking creative ways to engage their students. Through the School Visit program, book ownership is provided to students with below grade-level reading skills. “The Magician’s Hat” reinforces Malcolm’s broader message that reading is a necessary skill to compete effectively in life and to reach one’s full potential.”

All proceeds raised at and through the Literacy Luncheon will go to support the Share the Magic Matching Grant Fund which will help to provide books and programs to schools.
