In this episode of the Weekly Georgia High School Football Report on Bulldawg Illustrated On-Air, Murray Poole and Bob Miller take a look at some upsets and surprises from opening weekend and then dive into this weekend’s slate of games which feature some big-time matchups and rivalries.

Tonight, Justin Fields and Harrison will look to try to move the ball on a stallworth Rome defense that includes OLB/WDE Adam Anderson and d-lineman Jamarcus Chatman and JaQuon Griffin. Another heralded senior Peach State quarterback, Trevor Lawrence, will try to lead Cartersville to win number two on the year over the Sunshine State’s Bartram Trail on ESPN 2 on Saturday night. And there is an early season rivalry game between the Bulldogs and Yellow Jackets. Of course, I’m talking about Thomasville at Thomas County Central at 8 o’clock tonight. Those are just three of a number of great games on tap this weekend; so, tune on in to the show and get the low down.
