Ninety-Seven UGA Student-Athletes to Graduate Friday

Over ninety-seven UGA student-athletes will receive their undergraduate or graduate degrees tomorrow on Friday, May 5th, at the annual spring and summer Commencement exercises. The undergraduate ceremonies will be held in Sanford Stadium beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET.

 
Among the 97 UGA student-athlete graduates are one baseball player, five men’s basketball team members, four members of the women’s basketball team, 17 members of the equestrian team, 14 members of the football team, two members of the men’s golf team, five members of the women’s golf team, six members of the gymnastics team, six soccer players, eight softball players, six women’s swim and dive athletes, two men’s swim and dive athletes, one member of the men’s tennis team, five men’s track and field athletes, nine women’s track and field athletes, and five volleyball players.
