The UGA Rugby Football Club plans to offer up to 5 scholarships as part of the rugby program in the near future. Here is the announcement from Georgia Rugby:
 
 

The Board of Directors of the UGA Rugby Alumni Association recently voted to establish a series of rugby scholarships at the University of Georgia. We have committed to funding up to five $1,000 scholarships per year for highly qualified athletes. Details can be found in the attached announcement. This effort was made possible by the generous donations of our rugby alumni. However, the ongoing success of this program will be dependent on future donations. I encourage all alums to help support this program and to help assure that the UGARFC remains competitive in the Southeast for years to come.
