Celebrities and special guests will be among those on hand for Georgia Basketball’s first-ever StegMania on Friday night. Gates at Stegeman Coliseum will open at 6:30 p.m. and the event will begin with introductions of the men’s and women’s basketball teams at 7:30 p.m.

Hip-hop artists Ayo & Teo, best-known for their hit “Rolex,” will be in attendance.

Ryan Cameron, an Atlanta radio legend and the public address voice of both the Atlanta Hawks and the Atlanta Falcons, will serve as host. Sir Foster, DJ and organist for the Atlanta Hawks and the last five NBA All-Star weekends, will DJ and perform at StegMania.

Celebrity judges for the men’s basketball dunk contest will be Travis Leslie, Mary Beth Smart and Jordan Rodgers. Leslie was one of the SEC’s most emphatic in-game dunkers during his career with the Bulldogs from 2008-11. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers in the second round of the 2011 NBA Draft. Smart, the wife of Georgia football coach Kirby Smart, was a standout guard for Georgia as the former Mary Beth Lycett. She connected on 55 3-pointers as a senior in 2002-03, then the fifth-most ever by a Lady Bulldog in a single season. Rodgers was a quarterback for Vanderbilt and in the NFL and today is an analyst for the SEC Network. He also gained notoriety as the winner of season 12 of the Bachelorette.

Rodgers will be joined by his SEC Network partners Tom Hart and Cole Cubelic. That trio will comprise the broadcast team for the SEC Network’s telecast of Georgia’s football game against Vanderbilt on Saturday night. Additional guests with UGA ties are expected throughout the evening.

The first 1,500 UGA students in attendance will receive a commemorative StegMania t-shirt and a chicken biscuit from Bojangles, the event’s presenting sponsor. Following the team introductions, the festivities will feature a a 3-point shootout by the women’s team, a “hot shot” contest involving teams comprised of a men’s player, a women’s player and a UGA student. The men’s and women’s teams will compete in a dance battle before the Bulldogs hold their dunk contest and then scrimmage.

The evening will conclude with both teams available for autographs. No outside items are allowed in and fans will only be allowed to have the 2018 Basketball posters signed. Fans will be limited to two posters per person.
