Opening Tip

» Georgia takes its two-game SEC win streak into Columbia, S.C., to face the fifth-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks at 7 p.m. ET Thursday on the SEC Network.

» The Lady Bulldogs have won nine of their last 12 regular season SEC games dating back to last year (Georgia won seven of its final nine in 2015-16). It marks Georgia’s best 12-game stretch in league play since the 2012-13 NCAA Elite Eight season.

» Head coach Joni Taylor will lead her team into Colonial Life Arena for the second consecutive season and will play the Gamecocks twice in the next four games. During last year’s meeting, Georgia was down by five — 50-45 with 2:29 remaining — before USC hung on for the 61-51 victory.

» Georgia is looking for its first win against a top-5 team since Jan. 21, 2010, when the Lady Dogs defeated then-No. 3 ranked Tennessee, 53-50, in Athens.

» Freshman Stephanie Paul hit a shot at the buzzer to lead the Lady Bulldogs to a thrilling 70-68 win against Vanderbilt on Sunday. The Naples, Fla., native finished with career highs in both points (12) and rebounds (7) against the Commodores.

» Senior guard/forward Pachis Roberts leads the Lady Bulldogs in conference play. She is pacing her team in points (14.0 per game) and rebounds (7.0 per game) through three games. Roberts has scored in double figures in four-straight contests.
