Women’s Basketball: Tickets Available for NCAA Rounds 1 & 2 in Athens

 

ATHENS, Ga. — Single-session and all-session tickets are now on sale for the first and second rounds of the 2018 NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship in Athens.

 

Tickets can be purchased by calling the UGA Athletics Ticket Office at 706-542-1231 or online at www.georgiadogs.com/tickets. All-session tickets, which include all three games, are only $30 for adults and $14 for students age 18 and under. Single-session tickets are $16 for adults and $10 for students age 18 and under. Georgia students will be admitted for free with a valid UGA student ID. 

Joining the Lady Bulldogs in Athens will be No. 5 seed Duke, No. 12 seed Belmont and No. 13 seed Mercer. The No. 4-seed Georgia will face Mercer at 1:30 p.m. ET Saturday, while the fifth-seeded Blue Devils will take on the Bruins at 11 a.m. ET.

The winner of the two first-round contests will meet in the Round of 32 on Monday (time TBA) for a chance to punch their ticket to the Sweet 16 of the Albany Regional.

This year marks the 18th time in program history and the first since 2003 the Lady Bulldogs have hosted the first and second rounds here in Athens.
