The UGA equestrian team looks on to the spring portion of its schedule beginning January 30 in a meet against Texas A&M in College Station, Texas. Georgia sits at No. 2 with a 5-1 record and 2-1 in SEC competition.

Highlights of the fall include a 10-9 decision over Texas A&M at the UGA Equestrian Complex in the season opener, a 14-6 win over No. 5 Oklahoma State and a 13-5 defeat of SEC rival South Carolina. Additionally, Georgia riders have earned a combined 15 MVP honors on the season thus far.

“There is a palatable excitement from the team as we return from the winter break,” Meghan Boenig said. “Focus on personal and interpersonal growth keeps us stepping forward towards our best performances and making those repeatable. Each day we increase the probability of success. What an incredible and driven group to work with each day!”

After traveling to Texas A&M, the spring slate will continue as Georgia heads to South Carolina to take on the Gamecocks before returning home for the next three meets. Georgia will face Auburn at the UGA Equestrian Complex on Feb. 13. Georgia will then host back-to-back meets against Kansas State on Feb. 26 and Fresno State on Feb. 27. Georgia travels to New Mexico State on March 5 to close out the regular season.

Georgia will host the SEC Championship for the first time on March 25-26 before heading to Waco, Texas for the NCEA Championship on April 14-16.
