[su_spacer size=”20″] The University of Georgia has had great ones going all the way back to the SEC’s first Heisman Trophy winner Frank Sinkwich! And the state of Georgia has given Its flagship University the likes of Garrison Hearst, Thomas Brown, and the “Godfather” of the modern day running back in Willie McClendon. But never had the Bulldogs found that rare combination of endurance, size, speed, strength, and selflessness until HERSCHEL!…”That kid outta Johnson County! as Larry Munson once exclaimed.[su_spacer size=”40″] 35 years and some outstanding tailbacks later, the Dawgs have a new singular name to exclaim! CHUBB! Rising through the ranks quickly his freshman season, Nick Chubb is showing flashes of that same rare combination of speed and power that brought back echoes from the past! Herschel and Chubb are very much alike! Unassuming, quiet, and good natured!
[su_spacer size=”40″] One is a legend. One is just beginning. But you can see it. On the gridiron…THEY RUN WITH FURY! THEY RUN WITH POWER! THEY RUN WITH PURPOSE! THEY RUN FOR THEMSELVES! THEY RUN FOR THEIR TEAMMATES! But most of all, these two beloved sons of Georgia….JUST FLAT OUT RUN!
