Bulldogs land third commitment in 2021 recruiting class, Jared Wilson says he’s headed to UGA

At 8:00 a.m. ET Thursday morning, Jared Wilson, a 6-foot-4 and 325 lbs junior offensive lineman out of West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, NC, announced his decision to commit to the University of Georgia over Clemson, the University of North Carolina, and North Carolina State.

The Bulldogs offered Wilson back in June after he visited and camped at UGA. His commitment gives Georgia three so far in the 2021 recruiting class, joining athlete David Daniel (Woodstock, GA) and safety Bralyn Oliver (Honea Path, SC).

247Sports rates Wilson as 3-star prospect and the No. 19 offensive guard in the 2021 recruiting class, and he is considered the 28th best prospect from the state of North Carolina. Rivals also rates Wilson a 3-star OG prospect.
