Bulldogs Have Spent the Week Preparing for the Gamecocks

Jacob Eason prepares for Georgia’s game against South Carolina

The Georgia Bulldogs have spent this week preparing for their sixth game of the season against the South Carolina Gamecocks. The kickoff has been moved from Saturday to Sunday at 2:30 pme ET in Columbia, SC due to the potential threat and impact of Hurricane Matthew. To contend with the possibility of playing in the rain, the coaching staff has had their players practicing with wet balls.


Head Coach Kirby Smart held his weekly lunchtime press conference on Monday as well as a press conference following Tuesday’s practice. Players interviewed this week include outside linebacker Lorenzo Carter, offensive lineman Brandon Kublanow, running back Sony Michel, inside linebacker Natrez Patrick, full back Christian Payne, offensive lineman Greg Pyke, defensive back Maurice Smith, and offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn.
