Miller Grove High School defensive end, outside linebacker Caleb Tannor announced shortly after after 11:00 a.m. ET Monday morning that he is committing to the University of Georgia. His commitment gives the Bulldogs nine for their 2018 recruiting class so far.

Tannor chose Georgia over Auburn after coming off a visit with the Tigers over the weekend and those schools are just two of over 26 programs that offered the talented 6 foot 3.75 and 225 lbs prospect a scholarship. He is rated a four-star prospect by 247Sports, Rivals, and Scout. He is considered the No. 14 WDE for 2018 by 247 and the No. 21 OLB by Rivals. As a junior, Tannor racked up 54 tackles, 7 sacks, 2 safeties, and fumble recovery for a touchdown.

So far for 2018 at WDE/OLB, the Bulldogs also have 6 foot 4 and 245 lbs Jaevon Becton committed, and Georgia also leads for 6 foot 4 and 224 lbs Marietta High School WDE/OLB Azeez Ojulari along with 6 foot 4.5 and 214 lbs Rome High School OLB Adam Anderson. Both Ojulari and Anderson are considered top 10, four-star prospects at their position by 247Sports.

Caleb opens up his senior season with Miller Grove on Friday, August 18th when the Wolverines host the Clarkston Angoras. Until then, enjoy Tannor’s 2016 junior season highlights.
