Colquitt County High School running back Daijun Edwards announced his decision to commit to the University of Georgia early in the afternoon on Thursday.

The 5-foot-10 and 205 lbs senior joins Kendall Milton as the Bulldogs’ second running back for the 2020 recruiting class. Milton signed during the early signing period back in December and is already at UGA as an enrollee. Edwards will join Milton and the rest of the Dawgs after he graduates at the end of spring.

247Sports rates Edwards as a 4-star prospect, the No. 21 RB, the No. 28 player from the state of Georgia. Rivals also rates Edwards as a 4-star prospect as well, the No. 9 RB, and the No. 18 player from the Peach State.

In 4 years for the Colquitt County Packers, Edwards has compiled over 4,413 yards rushing on 715 carries, averaging 6.2 yards per carry, and a whopping 64 rushing touchdowns in 55 games. He also has caught over 72 passes for 821 yards, averaging 11.4 yards per reception.
