Mitchell Wasson – Committed To The G edit by Bob Miller
Class of 2016 kicker Mitchell Wasson has committed to the University of Georgia as a preferred walk-on.
The 5 foot 11 and 175 lbs senior out of Lassister High School from Marietta, GA had been committed to the University of Alabama since February 3rd, but reopened up his recruitment on March 1st. It did not take him long to make his decision as he chose Georgia over Army, Florida, and Rutgers.

Wasson was the Kickoff Champion of the 2015 Chris Sailer Kicking Fall Tour in Atlanta, GA back in October of last year. He is rated the fifth best kicker in the class of 2016 by Chris Sailer Kicking.
