[su_spacer size=”40″] At 2:30 PM ET, the 2016 Reese’s Senior Bowl will kickoff at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, and there will be a myriad of schools represented from all across the country by senior players on the North and South teams when they take the field in Mobile, Alabama. Of the 110 or so players on the rosters for this year’s Senior Bowl, four DGD’s, Jake Ganus, Jordan Jenkins, Malcolm Mitchell, and John Theus, will be representing the University of Georgia; so, cry havok and let the Dawgs out for last college football game.

No. 51 – Jake Ganus – Inside linebacker

[su_spacer size=”40″] Jake Ganus is a native of Chelsea, Alabama. He played most of his college football career at UAB, but transferred to Georgia for his senior season after UAB’s football program was disbanded after the 2014 college football season. The gritty inside linebacker, came to Athens and quickly rose up the depth charts, and he became Georgia’s “General in the Middle” on defense for the 2015 season.
[su_spacer size=”40″] He led the Bulldogs with 102 total tackles and also had 5 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, two interceptions and a fumble recovery. Ganus was also named the team MVP in his first year with Georgia.
[su_spacer size=”40″] With each and every tackle, he quickly became a fan favorite, and even though he was just a Bulldog for 1 year, he has endeared himself in the hearts of Bulldawg Nation, solidifying himself as a DGD.

No. 59 – Jordan Jenkins – Outside linebacker

[su_spacer size=”40″] Jordan Jenkins is a native of Hamilton, Georgia. He tied for the team lead in 2015 with 10.5 tackles for loss and was 4th in total tackles with 59. He also had four sacks, a number of quarterback hurries, along with a couple of forced fumbles. Jenkins was also one of the Bulldogs’ team captains for 2015.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Jenkins’ finished his career at Georgia with 202 total tackles, 39 tackles for loss, and 19 quarterback sacks. His 39 tackles for loss are 4th all time in school history, and his 19 sacks are 9th all time in school history.

No. 71 – John Theus – Offensive tackle

[su_spacer size=”40″] John Theus is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. He started the 48 games for the Bulldogs on the offensive line at offensive tackle during his career at Georgia, where he manned either the left or right tackle positions. Theus was also named an overall permanent captain for Georgia for 2015.
[su_spacer size=”40″] As a freshman for the Bulldogs in 2012, Theus became one of only three offensive tackles in Georgia’s history to start as a true freshman on the offensive line. Over his 4 years he helped pave the way for running backs Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall, Sony Michel and Nick Chubb, along with Brendan Douglas, and was a key anchor on the end in pass protection when it came to keeping quarterbacks Aaron Murray, Hutson Mason, Greyson Lambert, Brice Ramsey, and Faton Bauta off the grass.

No. 86 – Malcolm Mitchell – Wide receiver

[su_spacer size=”40″] Malcolm Mitchell is a native of Valdosta, Georgia. He was Georgia’s leading receiver with 58 catches for 865 yards and five touchdowns in 13 games for 2015, and he was named offensive captain for the Bulldogs for 2015.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Over his collegiate career at Georgia, Mitchell played in 45 games and started 35 of those. He amassed a total of 174 receptions and 2,350 receiving yards, scoring 16 receiving touchdowns.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Malcom’s 58 receptions for the 2015 season puts him tied for 4th all-time with Mohamed Massaquoi for total receptions in a season at UGA, and , and he has the 2nd most catches for a season for a senior receiver. His 865 yards in 2015 puts him 8th all time for receiving yards in one season in school history.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Malcom’s 174 career receptions puts him 5th all-time at UGA, and his 2,350 career receiving yards puts him 6th all-time in school history.
[su_spacer size=”40″] His 16 career touchdown receptions puts him 8th all time in school history.
[su_spacer size=”40″] In addition to his on the field accolades, Malcolm is as accomplished off the field and in the class room. He is a proponent and spokesman for helping adults and youth learn to read and to read better. Through his website, Read With Malcolm, he promotes a “life time of learning” and that “The only boundaries are those we create for ourselves.” Malcolm has also authored a children’s book titled The Magician’s Hat.
