NEWS:

Nick Cross is a 2019 four-star safety from Hyattsville, Maryland. He’s 6-1 and 207 pounds. According to the latest 247Sports Composite rankings, he ranks as the No. 76 overall prospect, the No. 5 S, and the No. 2 Maryland player. Cross currently holds 38 offers with the latest coming from Massachusetts on Dec. 28. He committed to FSU on Sept. 3 and has seemed to be a solid commit to them. However, he was supposed to sign during the early signing period but decided not to. Georgia was a major flip target for the four-star, but with Mel Tucker leaving, that seemed to have backed off. Now that doesn’t seem to be the case. The Bulldogs are still right in it for the safety and the February signing period could get interesting. He is currently practicing with his teammates for the All-American Bowl. Keep a close eye on this one because it isn’t over until he signs on the dotted line.

NEWS:

Tyrique Stevenson is a four-star cornerback from Homestead, Florida. He’s 6-0.5 and 202 pounds. According to the latest 2019 247Sports Composite rankings, he ranks as the No. 38 overall prospect, the No. 4 CB, and the No. 6 player in Florida. Stevenson currently holds 29 offers. This recruiting battle has been between Georgia and Miami since the summer. A one-time UGA lean then he would lean toward the Hurricanes. He was supposed to send his paperwork in during the early signing period and has kept his decision quiet. Stevenson will announce his decision during the All-American Bowl game on Saturday.
