The University of Georgia extended a scholarship offer to East Surry High School 2022 tight end and receiver Benjamin Gosnell on Friday.

With the offer from the Bulldogs, Gosnell has over 12 scholarship offers currently. He also holds offers from Florida, North Carolina, Penn State, Tennessee, and Virginia Tech to name a few.
The 6-foot-4 and 225 lbs rising junior plays at tight end and receiver on offense as well as at outside linebacker on defense for the Cardinals out of Pilot Mountain, NC. A talented multi-sport athlete, Gosnell also competes in varsity track and field, basketball, and baseball.
He is rated a four-star tight end prospect by 247Sports for the 2022 recruiting class. Rivals has yet to rate or rank Gosnell but currently have him classified as an 2022 athlete.
