Daily Dawg Thread 07 October 2019: Will Dontae Manning take an official visit to UGA?

Not long after he de-committed from the University of Oklahoma on July 6th, the Bulldogs offered Kansas City, MO cornerback Dontae Manning.

Although UGA was one of the schools to offer Manning during his recruitment and Texas A&M looks to be one of the programs out front, the Georgia coaching staff has been active in their recruitment of the senior.

But have the Dawgs piqued Manning’s interest enough to get him to take an official visit to Athens?

Manning is one of 44 defensive backs Georgia has offered so far for the 2020 recruiting class, and UGA has one cornerback committed so far, from Mansfield Timberview High School Jalen Kimber. Also in the picture is 5-star Kelee Ringo out of Scottsdale, AZ. Plus, there is a question of how many defensive backs the Bulldogs will take in this recruiting class, but I do expect Manning to take one of his five official visits to Georgia.

The 6-foot-0 and 185 lbs Manning is rated a 4-star and the No. 7 cornerback in the 2020 recruiting class by 247Sports He is ranked as a top-100 player in the country at No. 99. Rivals has Manning as a 3-star and the No. 36 CB prospect in this recruiting class.
