On Thursday, IMG Academy, Bradenton, FL class of 2021 running back Lovasea Carroll from Warren County, GA Tweeted out:

A follow-up Tweet nearly a month after he dropped his top-eight schools back on October 8th hinting at a possible announcement soon?

Carroll was a one time South Carolina commit but de-committed from the Gamecocks back on September 1st, and although he hasn’t set a date to announce his decision. Carroll told Rivals that Georgia has been one of his top schools since the Bulldogs offered and they are tied with Auburn. He hinted that there was going to be some time before he made any final decision.

 

 

 

 

” ‘Since Georgia offered me, they’ve always been one of my top schools. I love Georgia,’ Carroll said. ‘At the next level, they want me as running back.’ ” Carroll added, ” ‘I feel as if Georgia in a good position right now on my list. They are tied with Auburn, but we’ve got time to see how it all plays out.’ ”

The 6-foot-1 and 195 lbs Carroll is currently rated a 4-star prospect and the No. 5 athlete in the 2021 recruiting class by Rivals, and he is considered a top-100 recruit nationally. 247Sports also rates Carroll as a 4-star prospect and have him as the No. 8 running back and 135th overall recruit in the country currently.
