UGA offered Aldine MacArthur High School, Houston, TX class of 2020 cornerback Joshua Eaton on Monday, December 9th.

Including the recent offer from the Bulldogs, Eaton has over 33 scholarship offers. The 6-foot-2 and 175 lbs corner was a one-time University of Texas commit before reopening his recruitment on October 25th, decommitting from the Longhorns. Despite the late offer and lack of visits, UGA has a shot to land the Houston prospect, but as of right now, it doesn’t look like he’ll get a chance to visit Athens before the Early Signing Period. Eaton has an official visit to Alabama scheduled this weekend. The Bulldogs’ coaching staff did get out to visit MacArthur High School and Eaton on the road to start the week, though.

But Eaton isn’t planning on signing early and will look to take a visit to Georgia in January before National Signing Day.

247Sports has Eaton as a 4-star prospect, the No. 27 CB. Rivals also rates Eaton a 4-star recruit for 2020 and has him as the No. 31 CB.
