NEWS:
Jamil Burroughs is a four-star defensive tackle from Powder Springs, Georgia. He’s 6-2 280 pounds. According to the latest 2020 247Sports Composite rankings, he ranks as the No. 65 overall player, the No. 4 DT and the No. 10 prospect from Georgia. Burroughs currently holds 13 offers with the latest coming from Georgia Tech on June 8.  He visited Florida on June 2, Clemson on June 7, Alabama on June 22 and finished up the summer at Georgia on July 28. Burroughs was one of many recruits on campus for the west end zone reveal. On March six he released his top six which includes Georgia, Clemson, Tennessee, South Carolina, Alabama and Auburn. On August 25, he pledged his commitment to Georgia. Burroughs came for the Austin Peay game and will likely be back for Auburn. After the three players de-committed last week, Burroughs took to Twitter and announced that he isn’t one to back out and 100 percent committed to the Bulldogs. It looks like the Bulldogs have a potential ringleader for the 2020 class.

Eric Taylor

CLASS: 2020
POSITION: DT
HT, WT: 6-4 280
SCHOOL: Hewitt-Trussville
CITY, STATE: Trussville, AL
STATUS: Undeclared
# OF OFFERS: 16 offers
UGA OFFER: Yes, May 17, 2018
NEWS:
Eric Taylor is a 2020 three-star defensive tackle from Trussville, Alabama. He’s 6-4 280 pounds. According to the latest 2020 247Sports Composite rankings, he ranks as the No. 26 DT and the No. 13 prospect in Alabama. Taylor currently holds 16 offers with the latest coming from Alabama on Sept. 29. Ole Miss offered on May 21. Georgia and FSU offered on May 17. He visited Georgia this summer on an unofficial visit and for camp. Taylor went to Clemson’s camp on June 6 as well. He told me that his top three as of right now are Georgia, Auburn, and LSU. However, I think Clemson would be in it if they give him an offer.  His latest was to LSU on Sept. 30.  On his 247Sports profile, Alabama holds 100 percent of the advantage, but i don’t know how certain that is.  Alabama is the sleeper in this one as he is a hometown kid. But in my opinion, when he makes his decision, that’ll be where he ends up at for the 3-4 years of college, there won’t be a lot of drama surrounding him to flip or change his mind.
