Daily Dawg Thread 17 May 2020: UGA offered athlete Michael Daugherty

The University of Georgia extended a scholarship offer to Grayson High School 2023 athlete and defensive back Michael Daugherty on Saturday.

Daugherty has over 16 scholarship offers so far, and including the one from the Bulldogs, he also holds offers from Auburn, Florida State, Kentucky, Maryland, Penn State, and Tennessee to name a few programs.

The 6-foot-0 and 160 lbs rising sophomore out of Loganville, GA took an unofficial visit to UGA last summer in June and had the opportunity to workout for the Georgia coaching staff.

During his freshman season in 2019, Michael made 32 stops for the Rams in 12 games including four passes defended. As he is a 2023 prospective student-athlete, 247Sports hasn’t yet evaluated and ranked Daugherty. Nor has Rivals. But you can watch his most recent highlights by clicking on the video below.
