Princess Anne High School 2021 defensive back Tony Grimes posted via Twitter on Sunday that he is moving up his commitment announcement date up from December 1st to June 30th, a week from Tuesday.

The 6-foot-1 and 185 lbs rising senior will make his final decision from his four top-schools which he revealed back on May 31st and include the University of Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio State, and Texas A&M which he selected out of over 41 scholarship offers.

Although he has move his announcement date up, Grimes is not planning to reclassify to 2020 per his father Deon Glover, who spoke with DawgNations’s Jeff Sentell last week on Tuesday.

“This past Friday, we received word that the [Virginia High School League] would be moving forward with Virginia Sports,” his father Deon Glover said. “With that in light, Tony will stay and play his final high school season.”
