Daily Dawg Thread 24 January 2020: Justus Boone and George Rooks offered by UGA

Defensive end Justus Boone and defensive tackle George Rooks were offered by UGA on Thursday.

Justus Boone is a 6-foot-5 and 250 lbs junior out of Sumter High School in Sumter, SC. He is rated a three-star strongside defensive end prospect by 247Sports and Rivals while ESPN has him a four-star for the 2021 recruiting class. Blythewood High School

Like Boone, George Rooks is a big, tall defensive lineman with a long wingspan. The 6-foot-5 and 260 lbs junior out of St. Peter’s Prep High School in Jersey City, NJ is rated a four-star prospect by 247Sports and the No. 11 defensive tackle in the 2021 recruiting class. Both ESPN and Rivals also rate Rooks a four-star prospect but at strongside defensive end with Rivals having Rooks as the No. 7 SDE in the 2021 recruiting class.
