A lot of Bulldawg fans will have their eyes on the 2020 and 2021 recruiting prospects visiting the University of Georgia this weekend, but don’t sleep on a rising sophomore from Fort Worth, TX, Emeka Megwa. The 6-foot-0 and 200 lbs class of 2022 running back was also offered by the Georgia coaching staff on Thursday.

In addition to UGA, he holds over 23 scholarship offers from major programs across the country that also include Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, and Texas to name just a few. Megwa recently camped at Alabama and Texas A&M.

Last season, Megwa carried the ball 101 times for Nolan Catholic High School as a freshman for 642 yards and 5 touchdowns. He also had 3 receptions for 57 yards. Megwa also plays on defense at linebacker for the Vikings and competes in track and field.
