Georgia senior Trent Phillips has been selected as an NCAA Division I PING First-Team All-American, according to an announcement Tuesday by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Phillips, a native of Inman, S.C., earned All-America honors for the fourth time. He was a First Teamer in 2020 and 2022, a Second Teamer in 2019, and an Honorable Mention pick in 2021. Phillips joins Harris English, Russell Henley, Kevin Kisner, and Brendon Todd as the only four-time All-Americans in school history.

Phillips ended his career with school records for career scoring average (70.35) and tournament scoring record (20-under). He holds Georgia’s Nos. 2, 6, 7, and 11 single-season scoring averages, and he came in third with 24 top-10 career finishes. Phillips earlier became the first Bulldog to earn four First-Team All-SEC honors.

Phillips will begin his professional career on Thursday in the Korn Ferry Tour’s REX Hospital Open. He earned a sponsor exemption by winning The Williams Cup earlier this season. Phillips placed eighth in the PGA TOUR University standings and can play on PGA TOUR Canada this summer, starting with the ATB Classic presented by Volvo Edmonton June 16-19. He also is exempt into the second stage of the KFT Qualifying Tournament.
