Georgia and Mississippi State have similar defensive setups and that has been very helpful for the preparation of the offensive line according to Isaiah Wynn.

Isaiah Wynn and the offensive line will have a tough battle against the Mississippi State defensive line, which has been very strong thus far this season. One such player that has been a standout for Mississippi State is Jeffrey Simmons and he should be the focal point of Wynn and the rest of the offensive line unit.

Simmons is an outstanding defensive lineman as he has earned consecutive SEC defensive lineman of the week honors already in this short season. However, Georgia has a stellar group of defensive linemen as well and this has definitely been very helpful for Wynn and the rest of the offensive line in their preparation for Saturday’s contest.

“Our defense is kinda similar to Mississippi State’s so we just get a lot of good looks and our defensive line is fantastic,” said Wynn. “So I mean day in and day out we’re constantly getting good looks.”

The Georgia offensive line will need to have one of their best games if they hope to not only open up running lanes for their talented backfield but also keep the pocket clean for their quarterback. If the Georgia offensive line is successful, then they will have to thank the stellar defensive line group that they go up against in practice every day.
