Georgia’s first home game of the 1980 national championship season was a 42-0 win over Texas A&M in what turned out to be the Bulldogs’ largest margin of victory in the 12-0 campaign.

In the Bulldogs 42-0 win over the Aggies in 1980, freshman sensation Herschel Walker broke loose for a 76-yard touchdown run, as he amassed 145 yards on the ground and three scores.

With his recent victory at the Bermuda Championship, Bulldog golfing great Brendon Todd is now the seventh Bulldog protege of legendary coach Chris Haack with multiple PGA Tour wins.

Under the watch of Hall of Fame coach Gary Blair, the Texas A&M Women’s Basketball team captured the 2011 national championship, beating Stanford and Notre Dame in the Final Four.

One of the greatest players in Aggies football history is quarterback Kevin Murray, who led Texas A&M to back-to-back top ten rankings and Cotton Bowl appearances in 1985-1986.

Texas A&M has advanced to the NCAA Tournament in baseball 13 consecutive seasons, highlighted by College World Series appearances in 2011 and 2017, and six Regional titles.
