Dominick Sanders played hurt for a good part of last season. However, the defensive back continue to play even though ever tackle was painful.

When asked in which game he injured his should Sanders replied (beginning at the 1:53 mark on the video below):

“It was the Tennessee game. I had a hit on Alvin Kamara that pretty much tweaked it – it got worse then. Throughout the season it was throbbing, it was bad. Sometimes it got out of place, but I just told the coaches that I’m going to play, regardless. I ain’t worrying about the shoulder.”

Tackling with an injured shoulder can be painful.

“Oh. it hurt…I made a noise every time, but at the same time I just told myself – I’m not seeing no doctor.”

Attack the day, indeed.
