Northeast High School 2021 defensive end Elijah Jeudy has announced his decision and committed to the University of Georgia just shortly after 4:15 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon via his Instagram.

He chose the Bulldogs over and out of a top-five that included LSU, Oregon, Tennessee, or Texas A&M out of over 35 scholarship offers.

UGA offered Jeudy just this past January.

With his announcement, Jeudy gives Georgia 7 commitments for the 2021 class currently. He joins Lovasea Carroll (running back out of IMG Academy, Bradenton, FL) David Daniel (athlete out of Woodstock High School, Woodstock, GA), Marlin Dean (defensive tackle out of Elbert County High School, GA), Jonathan Jefferson (defensive lineman out of Douglas County High School, Douglasville, GA), Micah Morris (offensive lineman out of Camden County High School, Kingsland, GA), and Brock Vandagriff (quarterback out of Prince Avenue Christian School, Bogart, GA).

The 6-foot-3 and 246 lbs rising senior competes at defensive end and tight end for the Vikings out of Philadelphia, PA. 247Sports along with Rivals and ESPN rate Jeudy a four-star prospect at defensive end for the 2021 recruiting class.
