Wilson flipped his commitment from UGA to West Virginia during the recruiting process. Wilson’s reason for the change of heart was that Georgia wanted him a defensive back while West Virginia was recruiting him as a wide receiver. However, later in the process Georgia told him that he could play wide receiver in Athens, and he switched his commitment back to Georgia, signing with the Bulldogs on National Signing Day 2015.
