This past Saturday, UGA held it’s annual G-Day spring football game between the storied hedges of Sanford Stadium, and the fans poured into Athens to cheer on their Bulldogs.
While this year’s crowd was not as large as last year’s 93K record-breaking attendance, Georgia still boasted 66,133, which was the second largest crowd to attend a spring game in the school’s history. To put that number in perspective, the 2017 G-Day crowd is the fifth biggest spring game attendance so far this year and is only second to Alabama’s 74,326 in the SEC.
