After the hire of Marcus Sims on Monday, Kirby Smart has added former Texas Tech basketball graduate assistant Tersoo Uhaa to his strength and conditioning staff.

Uhaa fills the final spot in Scott Sinclair‘s strength and conditioning staff after the departures of Ed Ellis and Jamil Walker, who both left to join Sam Pittman at Arkansas.

Before his time in Lubbock, Uhaa spent time at Tennessee State following a stint at Arkansas State.

Uhaa is from Stone Mountain and was a standout running back at Furman University, who garnered All-Southern Conference accolades three times in addition to being named to the All-Freshman team in his first season. He graduated in 2012 with a degree in Health and Exercise Science.

He was also the weight training coach at Mount Pisgah Christian School in Georgia.

He went on to intern with the Strength and Conditioning program at Georgia Tech during the 2015-16 academic year.
