Duo of Dips – Light, healthy dips are a great option to pair alongside all the indulgent southern goodies.

Lemon Hummus

Ingredients:
• 1 can chick peas
• 2 lemons (and zest)
• 1 clove fresh garlic
• Extra-virgin olive oil
• Sea salt/Kosher salt,
• Pine Nuts, toasted
• Red chili flakes

PREPARATION: The simpler the hummus, the better. Combine the ingredients in a
blender until smooth. Serve the hummus with a touch of extra-virgin olive oil and
toasted pine nuts on top, crackers, and cucumbers on the side.

Artichoke Dip (served cold)

Ingredients:
1 can quartered artichokes
• Extra-virgin olive oil
• 1 clove fresh garlic
• 1-2 lemons + zest
• Sea salt/Kosher salt, pepper
• Marcona Almonds
• Fresh bunch of basil
• Freshly shaved Parmigiano-Reggiano (only if needed)

PREPARATION: Combine ingredients in blender. The earthy flavor of the artichokes
combined with the Marcona almonds give it the creamy delicious texture.
