Georgia sophomore defensive back Otis Reese announced his decision to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal back just a few days after the Bulldogs won the 2020 Sugar Bowl defeating Baylor 24-14. On Saturday, Reese announced on social media that he has decided to transfer to the University of Mississippi.

Reese signed with the Bulldogs as part of UGA’s 2018 recruiting class out of Lee County High School in Leesburg, GA flipping from Michigan on National Signing Day. As a true freshman, Reese played in 11 of Georgia’s 14 games making 13 total tackles. As a sophomore this past season, Reese played in all 14 of UGA’s games and had 3 total tackles.

 

 

 

 

Per Southeastern Conference transfer rules for undergraduates between member schools, Reese has to sit out one year but will still have two years of eligibility left to play.
