Yesterday, on “hump day” … check that. It was offer day. Several Georgia staff members were on the road on Wednesday down to south Florida, and the scholarship offers were a flying off the table. And, of course, the Bulldogs didn’t offer everyone, but it sure felt like it as they sent out over twelve offers to class of 2017, 2018, and 2019 prospects.

Here is a list of who all received an offer from the University of Georgia on Wednesday:

Asante Samuel Jr. – Class of 2018 – CB – St. Thomas Aquinas HS, Fort Lauderdale, FL

Al Blades Jr. – Class of 2018 – CB – St. Thomas Aquinas HS, Fort Lauderdale, FL

Benjamin Sapp III – Class of 2018 – CB – St. Thomas Aquinas HS, Fort Lauderdale, FL

Lashawn Paulino-Bell – Class of 2017 – WDE / OLB – St. Thomas Aquinas HS, Pompano Beach, FL

Kivon Bennett – Class of 2017 – DT – St. Thomas Aquinas HS, Fort Lauderdale, FL

Nik Bonitto – Class of 2018 – WDE / OLB – St. Thomas Aquinas HS, Fort Lauderdale, FL

Patrick Surtain, Jr. – Class of 2018 – CB – American Heritage HS, Plantation, FL

Daniel Carter – Class of 2019 – LB / RB – St. Thomas Aquinas HS, Fort Lauderdale, FL

Anthony Solomon – Class of 2019 – LB – St. Thomas Aquinas HS, Fort Lauderdale, FL

Elijah Moore – Class of 2018 – WR – St. Thomas Aquinas HS, Fort Lauderdale, FL

Kai-Leon Herbet – Class of 2017 – OT – American Heritage HS, Plantation, FL

Tarik Black – Class of 2017 – WR – Cheshire Academy, Cheshire, CT

In addition to the 12 offers that went out on Wednesday, the Bulldogs offered Jonathan Garvin and Marco Wilson on Monday.

Garvin is a class of 2017 – DE/OLB out of Oxbridge Academy from West Palm Beach, FL, and Wilson is a 2017 prospect at CB out of American Heritage High School from Plantation, FL.

If you are keeping count, which I know is difficult for you Alabama and Tennessee fans, the University of Georgia has sent out over 14 scholarship offers this week since Monday, March 7th. Out of those 14 offers, nine went to players from St. Thomas Aquinas High School, and all but one went to players from the south Florida area.

And you thought it would be just another boring “hump day” didn’t you?
