Georgia’s Greg Pyke Earns Sports Illustrated All-American Honors

University of Georgia junior offensive guard Greg Pyke has been named to Sports Illustrated’s Second Team All-America squad, according to an announcement from the publication.

Pyke, a 6-6, 313-pound native of Baltimore, Md., was one of five players from the Southeastern Conference on the Second Team offense.

Also of note, junior outside linebacker Leonard Floyd was included as an Honorable Mention selection by Sports Illustrated.

Georgia (9-3, 5-3 SEC) takes on Penn State (7-5, 4-4 Big Ten) in the TaxSlayer Bowl in Jacksonville, Fla., on Jan. 2. ESPN will televise the matchup between the Bulldogs and Nittany Lions at 12 p.m.
