[su_spacer size=”20″] This will be a great season opener. The last few years have been tough. Two years ago we had a rough go-round when we lost to Clemson right off the bat. A year goes by and we’re playing Clemson again. This time we win. Two weeks go by because we had a bye week and then we’re playing South Carolina in Columbia! We lose and the confidence level goes from very high to extremely low.
[su_spacer size=”20″] This year will be a great start for the Dawgs and my score will be 52-17.
[su_spacer size=”20″]
Vanderbilt
[su_spacer size=”20″] This year’s game will be played in Nashville, and yes, I am going (Happy Dance)! This will be a tough game though considering we lost to them last time we played there. This year will be a different story. I think Nick Chubb and Keith Marshall will each have fantastic games. I don’t know if Vandy’s defense will be able to anchor down on their speed. So I think the score will be 42-24.
[su_spacer size=”40″] South Carolina
[su_spacer size=”20″] This year is one of the toughest schedules the Dawgs have ever had with Alabama and Tennessee back-to-back, then Auburn, and two weeks later Tech. For some reason everybody is over looking South Carolina. I guess it’s because it’s here at Sanford and the Gamecocks lost a lot of seniors last year. What we are forgetting is that they still have the Evil Genius, Steve Spurrier. Although it will be a well-fought game I think the Dawgs come out on top with a W, 35-24.

[su_spacer size=”40″] Southern University
[su_spacer size=”20″] Now I’ve done my research on this team and yes they are not the best, but for a Division two team… they stink. I think this will be a great game for all of our running backs. We will also have an outstanding passing game with Reggie Davis, Isaiah McKenzie, and, of course, Malcolm Mitchell. We also recruited some four and even five star receivers. All in all I think we will win 56-10.
[su_spacer size=”40″] This is where the schedule gets a little rocky.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Alabama
[su_spacer size=”20″] Sweet home Alabama, am I right. Well HAHA it’s not where big wheels keep turning! It’s right here in Athens, GA, Clarke County, 30605, Sanford Stadium! You know what else, the tides roll is about to come to a halt because the Dawgs are going to whip butt! This game will be a toughy. I mean we’re talking about Nick Saban. Even though it is Alabama, I think Chubb will have a Heisman candidate type game, and the receivers will have another magnificent day Between the Hedges. While the defense is taking care of Nick Saban’s aggressive offense, they will score a touchdown or two. It will be a nail biter, but Marshall Morgan will come through with a clutch field goal and the Dawgs win 34-31.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Tennessee
[su_spacer size=”20″] Ugggh! The puke orange just makes me want to vomit. Anyway, this game is very intimidating. The stadium is huge! There are over 100,000 fans staring at the Dawgs. It looks like opening day of deer season with all that orange! And did I mention the coach, he is truly going to make one of his players pee in their pants, he yells and scares them so bad. This is also the game that all the critics have us losing.
[su_spacer size=”40″] I don’t! I have Georgia withstanding the pressure of all those people and all that noise. This game is also a game where our receivers might have a better game than our running backs. I mean it is midway through the season and there’s a chance an SEC team might have figured out a way to slow down our running backs. Even if this is the case, I still think Chubb, Michel, and Marshall might combine for over 300 rushing yards. I think the Dawgs come out on top again 34-28.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Missouri
[su_spacer size=”20″] The Tigers are one team that I’m nervous about because they are SEC now and we sometimes take that for granted. I am not as nervous as usual though because they lost many seniors: including receivers, a lot of their defense, and many more. My thoughts are the Dawgs run it down their throats and combine for over 300 yards rushing again. Our passing game will be great, no matter who is at the QB position.
[su_spacer size=”40″] The defense will hold them to less than 10 first downs led by Leonard Floyd, Lorenzo Carter, Jordan Jenkins, and Sterling Bailey. The outcome will be 45-27 the Dawgs.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Florida
[su_spacer size=”20″] Everbank Field, what a historic place for the Dawgs.
The Gators, not so much. Nobody remembers any of Florida’s great plays, if they had any. Thanks to Larry Munson, everyone remembers the Dawgs great plays! This GA-FLA game will be one Larry would have loved to call. Florida always brings their A game to Everbank. The Dawgs are what I’m worried about. Last year they lost to the Gators and two years ago they barely beat them. I still believe this is the year of the Dawg at Everbank. I know this has happened a lot but it’s going to happen again, Nick Chubb and Keith Marshall will combine for over 300 yards and Sony will add some gravy to our triplet running game. I also think the defense will hold them and only allow them a touchdown, maybe two if they are lucky. Also look for the special teams to have some key returns by Isaiah McKenzie (AKA, The Human Joystick). Anyway, I know I’ve said this a lot but Dawgs win 23-17. That never gets old, BTW.

[su_spacer size=”40″] Kentucky
[su_spacer size=”20″] “Bowl or Bust,” this will be the headline of Kentucky’s football season. Well I’ve got some news for you Kentucky, don’t depend on the Georgia game to get you any closer to a bowl game, because according to my predictions, the Dawgs will be undefeated for 8 games. Our confidence will be extremely high and we will be cooking with grease by this time! We will also have the best backfield in college football, a well-rounded stingy defense, plus one of the best receiving corps in America. All of these positions I just mentioned will be ready to take down the Wildcats. Each one will have a fantastic game, so I think the score will be 38-17, Dawgs again.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Auburn
[su_spacer size=”20″] In my opinion this is the toughest game of the season. Although they lost Nick Marshall and Cameron Artis-Payne, they still have one of the best coaches in college football right now. Plus they have a Will Muschamp defense so they could be a playoff contender. This is the team that I think will represent the SEC West and play in the SEC championship against us. Will Muschamp has faced Georgia before and he stopped Gurley two years ago, and last year he stopped Chubb and we lost again. So Auburn’s defense is probably pretty good and intimidating. In addition, our defense will need to be ready because my research shows that their offense is mean, strong, and fast, so we definitely need to be on our A game to hold them. Another game changer is our special teams! The Human Joystick will need to have some key punt and kick returns. Marshall Morgan will also need to have a couple great kicks to help us win this game. The biggest keys to success are the receivers. They will need to make the routine catches plus some awesome ones, and have amazing yardage after the catch. To win this game we will need everybody at 110%, but this will be extremely tough this late in the season. Unfortunately, I think the score will be 24-27. Tigers/War Eagles or whatever it is they call themselves.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Georgia Southern
[su_spacer size=”20″] This is a game that is technically an exhibition game but since they are in-state, I consider them a rival. This game is big for the Dawgs. I mean I will say it again, they are in-state! This game is also going to be a whip cream fest! The Dawgs are going to smoke the Eagles. I think Keith Marshall will rush for a boatload of yards and the same for Chubb and Michel. This game is kind of like a test game.
[su_spacer size=”40″] We will experiment with some plays and some players. We will throw a couple of good passes to Blazevich, and do some reverses to the joystick. I do hope they do my favorite play, the good old wildcat. Anyway back to the score. I think the Dawgs will beat the Eagles 55-20!
[su_spacer size=”40″] Georgia Tech
[su_spacer size=”20″] The Ramblin’ Wreck will be a great team this year. I think that Justin Thomas is the perfect QB for the triple option. Here is the problem, are the Jackets’ new running backs fit for the triple option? I don’t think so! My thoughts are the Dawgs secondary eat up the triple option. Our running backs have another fantastic rushing game and the receivers have even more amazing catches. Last but not least, Marshall Morgan puts a long one through the uprights and the Dawgs win! The Dawgs win 31-27 in Bobby-Dodd to top off the regular season! The real question remains, are we going to see this team again in the playoffs?
[su_spacer size=”40″] That is our season according to Hammy! Yes, I know,
[su_spacer size=”40″] I have the Dawgs as a one-loss team, but I also predict us playing in the SEC Championship against Auburn, our only regular season loss. My theory is we seek revenge, win the SEC Championship, go on to the playoffs, and WIN it all! Dang good season for the Dawgs, am I right? #1!
